This error indicates that the size of the search results is too large. To resolve this issue, you must increase your Java runtime parameters.
Steps
- From your Windows Control Panel, open the Java Control Panel.
- Click the Java tab.
- Under Java Runtime Settings, click View.
- The Java Runtime Settings dialog opens. Double-click in the Java Runtime Para... column and enter -Xmx128m.
Note: If multiple versions of Java are displayed, double-click in the Java Runtime Para... cell for the latest version. - Click OK to save your settings and then click OK again to close the Java Control Panel.
Once you complete these steps, try your search again. If you continue to get the same error, repeat steps 1-5 and continue to replace the Java Runtime Para...value with one of the following values: -Xmx160m, -Xmx192m, -Xmx224m, or -Xmx256m.
Note: Once you change this value, you may receive the following message: "The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded." This message means that the value you entered was too high and you must lower it. This message can also indicate that you did not enter the value correctly. Confirm the value you entered is correct (e.g., the letter "m" follows the number).
